Jay-Z reportedly closed a $150 million deal with Live Nation. Live Nation will handle all aspects of Jay's entertainment, touring, and endorsement deals. His current tour with Mary J. Blige is sponsered by Live Nation.

Usher's new album, "Here I Stand", is expected to drop May 27th.

Fabo of D4L escaped criminal charges stemming from a routine traffic stop in which ecstasy, marijuana, and a gun was found. His co-defendant pled guilty.

Remy Ma plans to appeal the verdict handed down by the Manhattan Supreme Court onThursday. Remy was found guilty of four charges which could carry a prison sentence of up to 25 years.

In other news regarding Remy, she still plans on wedding rapper Papoose this summer. The intial plan was to have the ceremony on a yacht but plans have changed. Remy and Pap are now planning to wed in a prison ceremony.

Rapper T.I. doesn't have to start his one year sentence until March 27, 2009.

Fabolous associate, Freck Billionaire, was arrested Tuesday March 25 for selling narcotics to an undercover police officer. He also has warrants for his arrest in Philadelphia for parole volation, missing a court appearance, and giving false information. He describes on his myspace page his illicit activities.

Rapper, actor, director, Ice Cube has recently sold his script to Dimension Films. This is the first script he has written since "Friday After Next". The name of the movie is "Janky Promoters". Cube is also working on his 9th studio album "Raw Footage".

They Reminsce Over You...

Remy Ma has been found guilty on four out of the nine charges she faced.; 2 counts of first degree assault, attempted coercion, and criminal possession of a weapon.

The charges stem from the shooting of Markeda Barnes-Joseph after an altercation with Remy Ma, born Remy Smith. Allegedly Smith shot Barnes-Joseph after accusing her of stealing $3,000 in cash. The defense tried to convince the jury the shooting was accidential.

Remy was not found guilty of gang assault and witness tampering.

She faces five to twenty five years behind bars.

I'm hurt cause i'm actually a Remy fan but that's how it goes. Does that mean she is no longer marrying Papoose? And what is going to become of the female MC because Remy was the best....

T.I. Update

According to rumors Rapper T.I. is going to plead guilty to federal gun charges. T.I., born Clifford Harris, faces 10 years in a federal penitentary of convicted.

The report says the plea deal will allow Harris to serve around 12 months in prison and do 1500 hours of community service. The judge is expected to review the plea at around 1:30pm.

I don't know about ya'll but I wouldn't wanna go to court against the FEDS either, they have like a 86 percent conviction rate. TIP and TI might dodge a bullet with this one (no pun intended).

Rapper, Game, has announced that his highly anticipated album, L.A.X. (Los Angelos Times) will be released June 24 the first day of summer. When asked about the album Game responded "On Lax I'm addressing real issues that other artists might be scared to talk about on record."

Game was just recently released from Twin Tower Correctional facility after serving 8 of a 60 day sentence all stemming from an incident at a basketball game. According to a lawsuit filed Game punched a man then threatened to "blast him" while brandishing a weapon. He pled no contest and was sentenced to 60 days.

In other news, female MC Remy Ma has been in the news recently regarding her trial for first degree assault. Remy Ma, born Remy Smith is accused of shooting a former friend, Markeda Barnes-Joseph, last July. The shooting took place after Remy discover $3,000 was missing from her purse. She accused Barnes-Joseph and demanded that she empty the contents of her purse. After which she was allegedly shot by Remy.

Now, in Barnes-Joseph's own testimony, she claims that the gun went off during the struggle for the bag. Early last week Barnes-Joseph dropped her 20 million dollar civil suit against Remy. Remy faces 25 years in prison if convicted.

Last and least, a 12-year old boy was arrested for throwing a rock through Soulja Boy's tour bus windshield during a stop in Illinois last Thursday. When question by police as to why he did it, he told officers "I hate Soulja Boy!"

I'm not a Soulja Boy fan either but they go hard in Illinois!!

Remy Ma and T.I. Updates...

Bad news for T.I. fans, rumor has it that T.I. has been offered a plea agreement that would get him 15 years. The silencer charge alone carries a 10 year bid. If convicted he faces up to 40 years in a federal penitentary.

In other news, jury selection in the trial of rapper Remy Ma begins next week.

Ras Kass has also been remanded for a probation violation that stems from him traveling while on probation. He will now have to serve a three year sentence.

Pray For Juve...

High school sophomore Anthony Tyrone Terrell has been arrested and charged by police for the murder of his mother, 39 year-old joy Deleston, and two sisters, Micaiah 11 and Jelani 4. Along with being Anthony's sister, Jelani is the daughter of New Orleans based rapper Juvenile. He is being held in DeKalb County Jail and is charged with three counts of murder and three counts of aggravated assault.

Please keep Juve in your prayers.....this is a sad commentary on the state of our nation.
