NBA

San Antonio Spurs 112
Cleveland Cavaliers 105

Manu Ginobli hits eight (8) threes and finishes with 46 points as the Spurs overcome a 39 point effort from Lebron James. The Cavs need the All Star Break to come and soon.

Phoenix Suns 118
Golden State Warriors 120

An up and down game decided in the final seconds by a missed three pointer by Leandro Barbosa. Monte Ellis finished with 37 points in the victory. Barron Davis added 27 points and 13 assist. Too bad he plays in the Western Conference.

Denver Nuggets 98
Orlando Magic 109

This just in....Magic Head Coach Stan Van Gundy is the Man and Dwight Howard is A MAN! Howard finished the game with 23 points and 24 rebounds in the victory over the Nuggets. Carmelo had 32 points but finished the game on the bench. Van Gundy questioned Howard's motivation on the boards and the defensive end of the floor, Howard has responded in a big way, he had a double-double at halftime!

Memphis Grizzlies 88
Philadelphia 76ers 102

The 76ers improve (if there is any improvement to be had) to 23-30 on the season, after defeating the lowly Grizzlies who have dropped 5 of the last 6 games. Looks like the trade with the Lakers worked out well for everyone. Rudy Gay continues to be a bright spot, scoring 23 points in the loss. He is continuing to ask for assistance in the slam dunk contest but in all actuallity he might need assistance getting in a defensive stance.

Toronto Raptors 109
New Jersey Nets 91

Without Jason Kidd, the Nets looked dazed and confused. With the early announcement of Kidd being part of a seven player deal, that would send Kidd to the Mavericks, Marcus Williams was promoted to starting point guard. Chris Bosh poured in 27 points with 9 rebounds. Good news for Jason Kidd fans in New Jersey, the proposed trade was vetoed by Devean George (who?). George has a no trade clause in his contract, which he said he would not excercise if he was traded to a team where he would get substantial playing time. The Nets are apparently not that team.

Atlanta Hawks 98
Charlotte Bobcats 100

New York Knicks 103

Indiana Pacers 80
Detriot Pistons 96

Milwaukee Bucks 107
New Orleans Hornets 111
